The Game Plan

What game is it exactly

It’s the game we all play from sunrise to sundown - every single day. The struggle for a place in the sun, the chase for the elusively illusive happy, and the constant eye for the shot of the everlasting–The game of life.

The foundation of the playing field of the now:

  • Goal - Of success and going for the gold
  • Rules - He who has the gold makes the rules
  • Interaction - To survive, treading the path lit by the torch of self-interest
  • Payoff - A collection of medals against one’s chest and the podium beneath one’s feet


Our playing field according to the game plan:

  • Goal - Of values and aspiring to be of value → More
  • Rules - Compassion over control → More
  • Interaction - To sacrifice, a threading for the community tapestry → More
  • Payoff - A collective that’ll never leave you behind → More


Our playing field’s bed will be of equality, the cornerstone of unity, and we will nurture it with choice. To choose and be accountable for that choice is to learn and progress ourselves.

Unity without equality is like a house built on sand

It’s where one’s opinion weighs the same as everyone else’s and where control lies with the whole and not with the elite few. Where power is not surrendered to an individual, so everyone can have a say in choosing which path should be taken. Where we divide the whole in order to unify a course of action. It’s a field where we relinquish our desire for control and abandon our attachment to wealth.

Democracy means equality in power. Communism means equality in wealth.

Trust should not be placed on a piece of paper--a promise of value--but instead be placed on each one of us being of value; to one another and ultimately to the whole. A trust built upon compassion and consideration to drive each of us to give what we can and constrain us to take only what we need. To have each other's back and make sure that, as we have fun playing our game, no one gets left behind.


Lastly, our field is where immortality is sought not for the entity but instead for the values it holds. The legacy we seek should not be for our names to be etched in history but for our values passed on to those next in line. Together, we must transcend our nature and not strive for the survival of our genes but that of our values. To endeavor for a singularity of our own prior to the advancement of the technological one. Where we are no longer weighed by the superfluous and the meaningless, surpassing our natural and myopic instinct to look out only for our own and those close to us.

So we play, have fun and rise as one in this field that’ll be boundless and timeless; echoing our identity for eternity. This is who we are.
